What?
North Tyneside Disability Forum were successful in receiving £5000 through Operation Payback Round 5 funding due to continued ASB issues the centre and their service users had experienced. The centre had regularly been targeted by ASB including thefts, trespass and criminal damage which was effecting the vulnerable residents at the centre. The funding allowed the centre part fund the erection of a fence around the centre to better protect the property and their users.

Why?
It is important that our communities have safe spaces, free from crime & ASB. This funding enables vulnerable users to access an important service in the heart of the community, that provides a variety of sessions and engagement opportunities.
