The role:
The Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner for Northumbria is committed to putting residents’ priorities at the heart of policing, and the digital engagement officer plays a key role in this, ensuring regular dialogue with residents across the region.
You will be working for the Police and Crime Commissioner, Susan Dungworth and will join a hard-working team, focused on delivering a Police and Crime Plan that makes a difference, ensuring local priorities are delivered and above all focuses on the voice of everyone who lives and works in the Northumbria police force area.
In return for your dedication and experience, we offer 26 days’ leave, excluding bank holidays, increasing to 30 days for 5 years+ service. What will I be doing?
- You’ll be at the heart of ensuring that local residents have their voice heard.
- You will use your experience of digital and traditional engagement and communication techniques to engage with organisations and residents.
- You’ll have a proven track record of communicating with a range of hard-to-reach groups and prove that you have the skills to implement new ideas and analyse feedback.
- You will use your flair and communication skills to ensure local residents are at the heart of the policing debate.
- Your role will cover all aspects of the PCCs work – you really will be making a difference.
