The Police Powers provides feedback on reviewed police powers records and video footage, including stop and search and use of force, to improve and maintain public trust and confidence in Northumbria Police.

The VAWG Advisory Panel has been created to improve public trust and confidence in how Northumbria Police support victims and manage investigations in acts of violence and/or abuse offences against women and girls.

The CDAP has been created for a consistent approach to addressing disproportionality within detention profiles to help build public trust and confidence in this often-hidden area of policing.

Out of Court Resolution (OOCR)

The OOCR panel is to independently review a selection of anonymised cases that have been resolved by use of an out of court disposal to determine whether the method of disposal is considered appropriate.
